- File Directories... The 'W' Command
-
- The W command has two forms:
-
- W is used to list the File Directories available. Ignore any
- numbers, etc.
-
- W Directoryname is used to list the files in the directory available
- for downloading.
-
- When you type W by itself, you get a list of the directories in
- the file area of the bbs. Directories are 'places' that
- files are stored. Each directory has a name that is discriptive
- of the files stored within the directory. For instance, the
- directory 'DX' would have files pertaining to DX activities.
-
- When you type W followed by a directory name.. ie; W DX, you
- will get a listing of all the files in the DX directory. These
- files may be 'downloaded', or printed out using the D command.
- You may upload new files to the directory to which it pertains
- with the U command.
